FACHPACK in Nuremberg is one of the most important leading trade fairs in the packaging and logistics industry, and offers an ideal platform for professional dialogue. At the fair, AUER Packaging presented its products with a clear, modern stand concept. The white high-gloss design and the dynamic fly-through video shown on a large-format LED screen generated a lot of interest and brought a constant stream of visitors to the stand. Numerous qualified discussions were held with trade visitors, offering new inspiration and the opportunity to talk about ideas for future solutions in the packaging industry. Overall, AUER Packaging can look back on a successful trade fair appearance in Nuremberg.

Completing an apprenticeship at the highest level at AUER Packaging as one of the best in Bavaria requires ambition, diligence and initiative. As an apprentice process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology, Jenna Grund had this in spades and has been awarded a State Prize. AUER is proud to be able to continue to benefit from her skills, know-how and innovative ideas, welcoming Jenna as a permanent team member in production now that she has completed her training.

LogiMAT in Stuttgart is one of the most important trade fairs in the intralogistics sector and a forum for expert discussions. AUER Packaging's white high-gloss stand design covers 400 square metres and attracts a large number of national and international visitors. Promising and interesting discussions with numerous trade visitors inspire new ideas to use our products to make the logistics industry even more innovative.

You can find the new flythrough on our YouTube channel, featuring exciting insights into our state-of-the-art production and the logistics centre, as well as the opportunity to experience fully automated processes up close.

Planning is underway for the expansion of AUER GmbH’s headquarters in Amerang. Additional production and storage capacities will be available in the future. With the expansion of our site, we look forward to being able to meet the constantly growing demand for high-quality transport and storage containers in the usual high quality and with short delivery times.

In addition to the existing production halls, we are planning a fourth production hall of the same design. This will be connected by means of conveying technology to a picking hall, which is also in the planning stage. From there, a further automatic conveyor line will lead to the high-bay storage system and optimise the process from product manufacture to packaging and dispatch.

As the company grows in size, management responsibility increases and the expertise required becomes more complex. AUER GmbH has therefore taken the decision to move commercial and technical management up to the highest management level: Chief Accountant Katharina Ganslmaier, who has been with AUER GmbH since 2015, and Chief Production Manager Sergej Andert, who has been with the company since 2014, have both been appointed to the management board with immediate effect.

They bring with them several years of management experience: Since 2019, they have been part of the four-person management team, which oversees all core business units. Now Ms. Ganslmaier and Mr. Andert will switch from operational management of their specialist departments to strategic corporate management. This means that they share overall responsibility for the company together with the owners and former sole members of the management board – Robert, Diana and Philipp Auer – and are authorised to represent the company legally.

Since the beginning of the year, we have been focussing on providing more individual custom-made versions of our proven system tables and system trolleys: By investing in a CNC milling machine, aluminium profiles can now be cut to a customised length with millimetre precision. Thanks to the configurator on our website, the length and width of the worktop, the table height, the top protrusions and the container modules with container positioning can be easily customised. With the new rod machining centre, we are also setting new standards in the field of digitalisation: Once the order has been completed via the configurator, our ERP system automatically transfers the configuration directly to the centre where our employees begin work on it.

The kitchen aides from our ROBERT AUER brand are both practical and beautiful, and we are delighted that both our lemon juicer and measuring cup won the German Design Award 2024.

The German Design Award is the highest accolade granted by the German Design Council. With its global reach and international standing, it is one of the most prestigious awards in the field of design across all sectors. The German Design Award has been identifying key design trends, presenting them to a broad public and recognising achievements since 2012. Every year, they nominate winners from outstanding submissions in product design, communication design and architecture.

For us, the principle of form follows function - function follows form applies: our practical kitchen aides impress with their function and feel as well as their appearance. The German Design Award jury was won over by the ROBERT AUER lemon juicer and measuring cup. The lemon juicer is non-slip and remains securely in place even when greater force is applied. The cone attachment is also twist proof to extract the maximum amount of juice. The soft-touch grip of the measuring cup fits perfectly into your hand, and a scale on the spout tells you how much liquid has already been poured. This is especially practical for step-by-step pouring. And you can store the rest thanks to the elegant lid.

Cases are infinitely practical when you're on the road, and the protective cases from AUER Packaging go one better with their exceptional outdoor properties. But where to put them when you don't need them? Or if you want to use them to store the items - such as high-quality photographic equipment, measuring instruments and the like - at home and have these items to hand at all times? Storing the case on the floor or in or on top of a cupboard is of course possible, but not ideal.

So it's a good thing that our extensive range of accessories offers a well thought-out solution for this scenario: the new practical wall mount creates more space and makes a feature of your protective case. Made from high-quality multiplex, the attachment makes for a precisely fitting counterpart to the underside of the protective case. Integrated magnets in the back panel of the attachment ensure a secure hold and easy removal of the case. The counterpart takes the form of a self-adhesive metal plate on the protective case, which blends in beautifully with the overall design of the case. The wall mount is not suitable for use with the Pro Trolleys protective cases as it is designed exclusively for the Pro series.
