Data protection declaration

Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our company, products and services. We attach great importance to the protection of your personal information and want you to feel secure when visiting our website.

Your data is the basis for us to provide the service you expect from us as a customer. To the same extent, you expect us to protect your data and to use it only for the purposes for which you have made it available to us in complete confidence. Therefore, we naturally adhere to the legal provisions on data protection. It is important to us that you know when we store which information and how we use it. Please note that this data protection declaration only applies to content on our servers and not to linked third-party websites. Here you can find corresponding explanations of the website operators.

Transparency of data collection, transfer and use

Your visit to our website will be logged. Essentially, the IP address currently used by your hardware (PC, notebook, tablet, smartphone), date, time, browser type and operating system as well as the pages you viewed or the names of the files accessed, the amount of data accessed and the message as to whether access or retrieval was successful are recorded. As a rule, it is neither possible for us nor our intent to relate this information to specific individuals. This information is only collected for data security purposes. The information is only evaluated for statistical purposes and then in anonymous form. No specific personal surfing profiles or the like are created or processed.

In addition, your personal information such as name, address, telephone number or email address will only be stored if you voluntarily provide this to us, for example, as part of a registration, a survey, a competition, or through ordering information material or a newsletter, as part of a pre-contractual relationship, or for the execution of a contract, an online application or should you otherwise actively contact us, for example by email or online form. You will be informed in the respective input and contact forms about the purposes of the collection of the information collected there. Such data is transmitted via the Internet in encrypted form. In particular, this personal information will only be used for advertising/market research purposes and to design our services if you have expressly consented to this.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

The personal information that you provide to us via a website or by email (e.g. your name and address or your email address) will only be processed for correspondence with you and only for the purpose for which you have made the information available to us. The information collected in our online shop is forwarded to the responsible unit within our group of companies. We assure you that we will not pass on your personal information to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so or you have given us your prior consent. Insofar as we make use of service providers to carry out and process processing, the contractual relationships shall be regulated in accordance with the applicable legal requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (EU) 2016/679 for order processing.

Personal information is deleted when the knowledge thereof is no longer required for the fulfilment of the purpose of storage (e.g. existing purchase contracts), unless longer legal or contractual retention periods have to be observed. When you visit our website, your IP address is stored for a period of three months to ensure data security (i.e. to prevent misuse and for prosecution) and then deleted.

Right to information

You have the right to obtain information about your personal information stored at any time, including the origin and recipient of your information and the purpose of data processing. Please send your request in writing or by email to the addresses listed below. You will receive information free of charge about all personal information that we have stored about you.

General legal information

If you no longer agree to the storage of your personal information, or if it has become incorrect, we will arrange for the deletion or restriction of the processing of your data or make the necessary corrections (insofar as this is possible under applicable law) upon instruction to this effect.

We occasionally refer to the websites of third parties. Although we select these third parties carefully, we cannot assume any guarantee and liability for the accuracy or completeness of the contents and data security of third party websites. This data protection declaration also does not apply to linked third-party websites.

If we introduce new products or services, change Internet procedures or if Internet and EDP security technology develops further, the "data protection declaration" must be updated. We therefore reserve the right to amend or supplement the declaration as required. We will publish any changes here. We continuously check and update the information on our website. Despite all due care, the data may have changed in the meantime. Any liability or guarantee for the topicality and completeness of the information can therefore not be assumed.

Information about data security
