AUER Packaging continues to grow: In June 2015, another production hall with an area of around 3,000 m² was commissioned at the Amerang site. This means AUER Packaging now has a total covered hall area of around 56,000 m².

In the long term, 14 injection moulding machines will provide additional production capacities in the new production hall. At present, the Amerang plant focuses on the manufacture of thin-wall food packaging. Further expansion of this site is already in the planning phase.

In December 2013, AUER Packaging announced the purchase of the entire Technology Park site in Amerang. The prestigious building complex was built in 2002 on a plot measuring almost 50,000 square metres for an international electronics company. The architecture and furnishings are suitably spacious and of a high standard of quality. The headquarters of AUER Packaging, with their own showroom, have already been situated in the main block of the Technology Park for many years.

With the purchase of the whole site, the up-and-coming Bavarian firm is unlocking additional production capacity with very short distances between the production facilities and the sales and administrative departments. In the future, new product lines can also be manufactured under cleanroom conditions in the new halls.

Due to a rapid growth in orders, AUER Packaging needs to expand its resources in order to meet the increasing global demand for high-quality plastic containers. To this end, the Amerang-based company recently announced that it had ordered four new state-of-the-art injection moulding machines. Company founder Robert Auer and CMO Philipp Auer see these purchases first and foremost as an investment in service quality. The additional production capacity will significantly reduce delivery times and allow for an even faster response to customer requests.

Over the past few years, AUER Packaging has continuously been able to achieve double-digit growth rates. According to the two managers, this has largely been due to the successful expansion of its worldwide distribution and the introduction of new products specifically in its best-selling ranges.

Following on from AUER Packaging being awarded top marks by the Hoppenstedt Group for its credit rating in 2012, the Amerang-based company was once again given straight As by Hoppenstedt in 2013. Of the 4.7 million companies investigated, only an exclusive circle of 4.8% achieved this top rank – yet more proof of the strong economic performance and successful business strategy of AUER Packaging.

The SAVE FOOD initiative was established by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to raise society's awareness of food losses.
One of the goals of the initiative is to bring together all those involved in food value creation, and thus help them to develop effective measures. Another of SAVE FOOD's pressing concerns is raising consumer awareness.

AUER Packaging not only makes a major contribution to the diligent and respectful handling of foodstuffs with its high-quality, hygienic special products for the food industry, it also supports the initiative with a generous donation.

Every year, the well-known rating agency Hoppenstedt evaluates the creditworthiness of around 4.7 million companies. Only 4.4% of the businesses investigated achieve the top score of "1". AUER Packaging is therefore particularly proud to be part of this exclusive group of companies to have been awarded the highest possible rating.

For CEO Robert Auer, this accolade is also an incentive for the future: "Obviously, the company will continue to do all it can in 2012 to remain in a healthy economic position and to continue to be a perfect partner for our business associates!"

Contact with Sorin Revencu in Romania was established via the Hungarian AUER Packaging sales subsidiary, which was founded back in 2008. Mr Revencu's parents had frequently ordered AUER products via Hungary and marketed them in Romania. From now on, Sorin Revencu – who is already familiar with the AUER product range thanks to his experience in his parents' business – will be taking on the exclusive sale of AUER products in his home country.

Robert Auer, CEO of AUER Packaging, and the newly minted manager of the Romanian subsidiary are confident that this step will open up an attractive market for the company and further strengthen its market position in Eastern Europe.

AUER Packaging meets its increasing requirements for space with the opening of new markets in Europe and reacts with the expansion of its storage capacities. At the end of November 2009, the construction of a new warehouse with 7,500 storing positions for pallets was completed and commissioned in December 2009.

The amazing results of this expansion measure for AUER clients all over the world are more flexibility in production planning, higher capacities of goods and therefore shorter terms of order processing.

Following the successful market entries in various European countries within the last few months, products by AUER Packaging are now also available in the UK. The company's philosophy 'directly from the manufacturer' will surely also prove itself in the UK market. As the UK is one of Germany's most important trading partners, the opening of the Birmingham office constitutes the consequent pursuit of AUER's recipe of success: transport and storage containers with unbeatable cost-effectiveness.

Up to now, the products of AUER Packaging have only been available in Belgium and the Netherlands by trading agents. Now the company finally has its own branches in these two countries. „The successful market entries within the last few months in various European countries, have clearly shown that our philosophy `directly from the manufacturer` - actually taken from the German market – can also be applied for other countries. Therefore we are convinced to have taken another step into the right direction with our direct presence in the Benelux Countries“, states managing director Robert Auer.
