The kitchen aides from our ROBERT AUER brand are both practical and beautiful, and we are delighted that both our lemon juicer and measuring cup won the German Design Award 2024.

The German Design Award is the highest accolade granted by the German Design Council. With its global reach and international standing, it is one of the most prestigious awards in the field of design across all sectors. The German Design Award has been identifying key design trends, presenting them to a broad public and recognising achievements since 2012. Every year, they nominate winners from outstanding submissions in product design, communication design and architecture.

For us, the principle of form follows function - function follows form applies: our practical kitchen aides impress with their function and feel as well as their appearance. The German Design Award jury was won over by the ROBERT AUER lemon juicer and measuring cup. The lemon juicer is non-slip and remains securely in place even when greater force is applied. The cone attachment is also twist proof to extract the maximum amount of juice. The soft-touch grip of the measuring cup fits perfectly into your hand, and a scale on the spout tells you how much liquid has already been poured. This is especially practical for step-by-step pouring. And you can store the rest thanks to the elegant lid.

Cases are infinitely practical when you're on the road, and the protective cases from AUER Packaging go one better with their exceptional outdoor properties. But where to put them when you don't need them? Or if you want to use them to store the items - such as high-quality photographic equipment, measuring instruments and the like - at home and have these items to hand at all times? Storing the case on the floor or in or on top of a cupboard is of course possible, but not ideal.

So it's a good thing that our extensive range of accessories offers a well thought-out solution for this scenario: the new practical wall mount creates more space and makes a feature of your protective case. Made from high-quality multiplex, the attachment makes for a precisely fitting counterpart to the underside of the protective case. Integrated magnets in the back panel of the attachment ensure a secure hold and easy removal of the case. The counterpart takes the form of a self-adhesive metal plate on the protective case, which blends in beautifully with the overall design of the case. The wall mount is not suitable for use with the Pro Trolleys protective cases as it is designed exclusively for the Pro series.

Robust, smooth-running transport trolleys are a classic in the AUER Packaging range. A clever product innovation now makes handling the transport of Euro containers in the factory even easier: the new compact transport trolley with coupling system is the perfect choice when Euro containers need to be transported from A to B reliably and securely connected to a transport aid. Particularly practical is the coupling system we have for our closed Euro containers: individual containers and the new transport trolley can be stacked to form a compact, firmly connected tower that can be lifted as a whole and moved to another location. Our connectable compact transport trolley is available in red and blue and can be ordered as a single unit with either rubber or polyamide wheels here in the AUER online shop.

In 2022, AUER Packaging presented an array of refined new products. The next wave of product innovations is now entering the picture: The system table with its strong worktop and lockable smooth-rolling casters combines the qualities of a work bench with the multifaceted features of the proven system trolley. The system table really shines when a work or assembly island has to be set up in various places at a company: Work tools are stored in one or more container modules that are equipped with high-quality drawers. The tools are always in reach as a result. With the help of the system table, you can set up the table exactly where you need it in your operation. You can lock the wheel stops into place to facilitate safe-working conditions. One special strength of the system table is its multifaceted uses: A number of different configurations were developed for the launch of sales, from the basic model without a container and a basic model with an appropriate worktop and four Euro containers to versions that include two container modules. Customers can also decide whether they want to have a surface coating and whether the worktop should be flush or protruding. The latter option is helpful if, for instance, you would like to attach a vice or clamp to the worktop.

The product line of system tables is being rapidly expanded: If you do not need a mobile table, you can select the model that is equipped with feet instead of casters. We also offer a solid-wood version of the worktop that complements the multilayer model. You can also order special sizes and other product features by using our online configurator.

An entire series of product innovations has been introduced right in time for FachPack in Nuremberg, Germany. These innovations begin with Euro containers equipped with the Pro hinged lid, a feature in which an integrated rubber seal encircles the rim. Working with a clamping lever, the seal helps to keep the container’s content safely protected from most external effects.

Euro-format storage boxes with open fronts now come with transparent viewing flaps. These flaps provide a clear overview of the content and fast access to it.

Closed Euro containers equipped with the new coupling system can be locked and reopened with a flick of the wrist. The coupling system enables a stack of Euro containers to be turned into a compact tower that can be handled like one single container.

The colourful covers are now available for Euro containers, and these covers can be used to close the open handles by a simple clipping process. They also make it possible to easily create a colour-coded organisational system.

New additions to the system trolleys for Euro containers include versions without drawers in which the containers can hold rigid or inclinable trays as well as a model equipped with pallet-format XXL trays – for really big loads!

The heart of the system boxes made by AUER Packaging is their innovative coupling system. The system enables the boxes to be quickly and securely attached to one another, on special transport rollers, on hand trolleys with the appropriate attachment – and now on the wall or floor, wherever you wish. The newest member of our range of accessories is an attachment that can be mounted horizontally or vertically. It is equipped with a coupling system that creates a completely secure bond with all products in the system box line that have the same basic dimensions.

The IBC family is growing! ‘IBC’ stands for ‘intermediate bulk containers’ and describes plastic containers for storing and transporting liquids and pasty contents. To date, customers could choose between the classic non-foldable container with a steel tube frame and integrated plastic pallet and the foldable bag-in-box system, which involves packaging the contents in cost-effective liner bags. The load-bearing element in this design is a stable plastic container which, when not in use, can be collapsed to save space. But an IBC is often acquired for continuous use, and filling as well as removing the contents is done from above. This is where the new non-foldable version comes in, which is significantly more cost-effective but just as stable. A stainless-steel filling bridge comes with the new bag-in-box IBC as standard which can be used to fill and empty the liner bags. The bag-in-box IBC is available with a capacity of 250, 500 and 600 litres.

Our next product innovation of the year just went online: starting immediately, the popular insertable bins that ensure perfect order in our assortment boxes can also easily be used in Euro containers. This is made possible by a special insert in which the insertable bins are perfectly placed. Thanks to recesses which the insertable bins click into according to the building block principle, they are affixed to prevent slipping – even if the container is only partially loaded. The adjustment grid of the insert enables individual loading with all models of insertable bins.

Numerous innovative product enhancements are planned for 2022. The first of these are already available in the online shop: To bring even more order to our popular rack boxes, precisely fitting partitions are now available. The partitions are inserted into the guide slots on the walls of the containers to ensure a secure hold. Not only do they look chic with their bevelled front edge, they are also especially ergonomic.

The second innovation that is already available are the cubed foam inserts for Euro containers. They have already successfully proven their worth with protective cases and now ensure that the content of Euro containers can also be stowed in a non-slip and shockproof manner. The pre-punched cube structure enables precise adjustment of the pad to the content, for example to a camera or measurement device. Multiple pad inserts can be used depending on the height of the container, which means that the shape of the content can be reproduced three-dimensionally.

Did you know that the plastic intermediate bulk container (IBC) has played and is still playing a major role in the vaccination programme being waged to fight the coronavirus? AUER Packaging’s collapsible IBC containers that are equipped with a hygienic bag-in-the-box system and are perfectly designed for the effective transport of liquids are being used to ship key chemical components in vaccine production around the world. The design principle of the IBC combines a robust large load carrier that can be collapsed in a space-saving manner during empty transports with cost-effective and totally hygienic disposal liner bags. Thanks to this hygienic concept, the collapsible IBC can also be used in production facilities that have to meet the very highest hygienic standards – like the pharmaceutical industry.
